First Amendment of our Constitution.

 The New York Times’ Sheryl Gay Stolberg said that this week’s effort by Democrats to censor featuring Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. «raised thorny questions» about whether misinformation is protected speech.    “The hearing raised thorny questions about free speech in a democratic society: Is misinformation protected by the First Amendment? When is it appropriate for the federal government to seek to tamp down the spread of falsehoods?”

Once again, the “so called liberals, in reality socialist”, members of the MSM, question freedom of speech.    It reminds me of my university days during Castro’s initial days of his tyranny.    

One of my fellow students and best friend warned me about my mistake when I was voicing my opposition to the agrarian and housing “reform” laws which I labeled a danger to market freedom, and the potential danger to personal one.    

When I told him about Castro’s “freedom of speech” promise, he said only what is acceptable by the majority of the population is protected.

 That was Cuba, here we have the first amendment that in my view was written to protect the rights to opine, to everyone, obviously meaning the opposing minority views because the many do not need protection.    Are there limits?    Yes, false speech, as in false statements to officials and/or perjury.

Misinformation is a subjective word. For some, like Ms. Stolberg it means any statement that a majority, represented by her! does not agree with.   

 I am sure that she would label my frequently spoken and written words expressing my beliefs that both the “transgender”, and “climate change” views as expressed by many are fabrications based on minimal percentages of anyone suffering from Gender Dysphoria, and of an immediate climate cataclysm, a warning dated back a couple of centuries, as “misinformation”, instead of my freedom of thinking and or writing/speaking about subjects to which she has the right to disagree, but not censure or called false.
