En los últimos días de 2025 recibimos la triste noticia del fallecimiento del reconocido y querido actor cubano Salvador Levy. Nacido en La Habana el 15 de marzo de 1928, Levy comenzó su carrera en la televisión cubana en la década de los años 50. En 1954, fue nombrado “Míster Televisión”, recibiendo así uno de los reconocimientos más importantes de la época. La dictadura castrista lo llevó a la cárcel antes de forzarlo al exilio. Allí continuó actuando y participando en actividades culturales junto a su esposa Lucy. Este gran actor falleció el 21 de diciembre de 2025 y será recordado por su solidaridad con el exilio y su lucha por la libertad de Cuba.

Farewell to Salvador Levy (1928-2025)

In the last days of 2025, we received the sad news of the passing of the renowned and beloved Cuban actor Salvador Levy. Born in Havana on March 15, 1928, Levy began his career on Cuban television in the 1950s. In 1954, he was named “Mister Television”, thus receiving one of the most important recognitions of the time. The Castro dictatorship took him to jail before forcing him into exile. There, he continued to perform and participate in cultural activities with his wife, Lucy. This great actor died on December 21, 2025 and will be remembered for his solidarity with the Cuban exile community and his fight for Cuba’s freedom.
